Description

During this event, the main challenges presented by sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) and the opportunities of SAF derived from Green Hydrogen in Chile and the world will be addressed.

The presentations of this event will be focused on 3 main axes:

● To expose the objectives of decarbonization of international aviation, the projection in the use of new energies in this industry and the development of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF).

● To present the Clean Flight program initiative of the Energy Sustainability Agency and the Civil Aeronautics Board, as well as its progress in the development of a SAF 2050 Roadmap, together with the inputs obtained in the public-private working group for the development of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) in Chile.

● To deepen the opportunity presented by e-fuels as a means of decarbonization in the aviation industry in the medium and long term.
